This pen knife is a replica of a knife owned by George Washington, gifted to him by his mother. It had been in his possession for 56 years, and was presented to Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22 in 1822 by George Washington’s nephew, Captain George Steptoe Washington. The handle is made of saltwater mother of pearl. The blade is German stainless steel. The pen knife comes in a velvet box.
